Patient Information
Your Checklist for a Successful Thermal Examination
*You must wait at least 3 months after any breast surgery, completion of chemotherapy, or radiation before a thermal breast exam
*You must wait 3 months after discontinuing breastfeeding before a thermal breast exam
*You must wait at least 1 month after biopsy or minor surgery
*Avoid tanning or sunburn 1 week before the exam
*You must wait at least 1 week after having a CAT scan
24 Hours Before the Exam:
*Avoid exercise or physical stimulation, massage, or chiropractic adjustments
*Refrain from sauna, steam room, or hot/cold packs
*No significant fever
On the Day of the Exam:
*Do not shave your underarms or use any skin creams, lotions, or deodorants on the areas to be imaged (do nothing to clog the pores of your skin)
2 Hours Before the Exam:
*Refrain from tobacco use or any hot drinks
*Refrain from exercise, bathing, or showering
*If we are going to take images of your head, avoid chewing gum
During the Exam
There will be no contact with your body, any injections, radiations, or fluids to drink. You will be in a comfortably cool, private room and the camera will be positioned from 4 to 8 feet away from you as you turn to change to the necessary positions.
You will be offered a gown to wear until the imaging begins. For breast imaging, you will be required to disrobe your upper body. For full body imaging, you will be required to disrobe all except for underpants. You will be imaged by a trained thermographer. Please bring or wear underwear.
A region of interest, like the head or breast, will take about 15 minutes. A full body exam will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Time is allowed to briefly review the images before you leave (no interpretations will be offered at this time).
Reporting
Your images will be interpreted by a trained thermologist. A report, including images, will be sent or given to you when the report is complete. You will receive reports and images on CD, for better clarity and versatility, as well as a follow up consultation (by phone for remote locations).
Notice Regarding Interpretation
When reading these images, we look for certain temperature findings in the breasts which may suggest elevated risk for disease. Thermal imaging provides information about current and future risk only and does not diagnose breast conditions. Thermal imaging findings should be correlated with diagnostic examinations before a final diagnosis and treatment decision is made. It does not replace any other examination.

Early Prevention Screening
What if we could show you a way to detect breast cancer growth patterns in as early as the 2nd year? This is typically 5 to 8 years before a slow-growing lump or mass will appear on a mammogram. Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) is the only technology that offers this unmatched “Early Detection” capability.
Active Cancer Cells Can Double Every 90 Days
90 Days: 2 cells
1 Year: 16 cells
2 Years: 256 cells (Thermal Imaging can see it here.)
3 Years: 4,896 cells
4 Years: 65,536 cells
5 Years: 1,048,576 cells (Still undetectable on a mammogram.)
6 Years: 16,777,216 cells
7 Years: 268,435,456 cells
8 Years: 4,294,967,296 (Doubled 32 times.)*
*Usually detectable by Mammogram at this stage. 40 doublings (approximately 10 years) is considered lethal.
*Most cancers are detected when the tumor is about 1cm in size, which is approximately 1 billion cells.
Why Use Thermography for Breast Screening?
Representative of an average growth pattern of the typical slow growing breast tumor. Most doctors agree and even tell their breast cancer patients that they have had the growth for 8 or 10 years.
This is Why:
-Mammograms are a good tool for determining the exact location of a developed tumor, but it is not an early warning system.
-The real danger of breast cancer is whether or not it has spread to a vital organ. Women deserve earlier detection, and thermography is it.
-Thermography can see the blood supply that feeds a tumor in its infancy.
-A thermographic baseline and monitoring every year is the way to detect precancerous cells through cellular physiology to establish real early signs!
-Thermography offers the opportunity to change a person’s health history and future risk assessment.
-We believe prevention is preferable to disease management.
